LS Geomorphologie


In meiner geomorphologischen Forschung beschäftige ich mich mit Verwitterungs-prozessen an Felswänden (Auslösemechanismen und Quantifizierung von Steinschlag) sowie an Baudenkmälern. Dabei interessiert mich vor allem die Rolle der Gesteins-feuchte und ihre Messung. Mein zweiter Schwerpunkt ist die Quantifizierung von Erosion, Sedimenttransport und Ablagerung in kleinen Einzugsgebieten und die damit verbundenen Sedimentbilanzen. Daneben interessiere ich mich für Mensch-Umwelt-Beziehungen (z.B. Waldbrände, Naturgefahren, Wassernutzung) und versuche, die Kooperationsmöglichkeiten mit den Nachbarwissenschaften auszuloten.
